Pachama is on a mission to solve climate change by restoring forests, nature’s carbon sinks. Pachama harnesses satellite imaging with artificial intelligence to measure carbon captured in forests. This technology enables remote verification and monitoring of forests to provide a new standard of assurance in carbon markets. Through the Pachama platform, we connect responsible companies and individuals with carbon credits from projects that are protecting and restoring forests worldwide.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional to help us build and lead a growing sales team to connect, engage and serve corporate partners on their climate plans.

As VP of Sales, you will advise and build partnerships with Pachama’s corporate customers, as well as help facilitate forest carbon transactions through the Pachama platform and close final partnership deals.

You will also lead and shape our growing sales team and be responsible for sales targets, acquiring new corporate customers and helping Pachama become the go-to supplier of carbon credits.

Job is remote, but we prefer candidates to be within three hours of the Pacific time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage key corporate accounts, including advising clients on sustainability, carbon markets, and quality forest credits.
  • Build and lead a sales team of sales and sustainability experts supporting companies taking action on climate change.
  • Set company goals, develop KPIs, and implement them.
  • Create and employ new strategies to drive new sales leads.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline by professionalizing our sales cycles and bringing new process efficiency.

  • Experience scaling a sales team at an early stage start-up
  • Experience in B2B sales with large enterprise accounts
  • Demonstrated success at growing revenue and customer base
  • High EQ and a willingness to help your colleagues thrive
  • Carbon market or sustainability experience a plus
  • A positive personality that prefers to build and execute than keep the status quo
