Global Citizen is a movement of engaged citizens who are using their collective voice to end extreme poverty by 2030. On our platform, Global Citizens learn about the systemic causes of extreme poverty, take action on those issues, and earn rewards for their actions — as part of a global community committed to lasting change. We are looking for a passionate and professional individual to support our Office of the CEO.

We are looking for a passionate and professional individual to support our Office of the CEO.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Ensure excellent management over scheduling of CEO's daily meetings/calls/etc. (i.e., diary management); requires constant attention to incoming email requests, ongoing coordination, etc.
  2. Supports the Executive Assistant to ensure calls are prepped (e.g. provide briefing notes in advance) and staffed properly and provide notes and follow-up action items to the Chief of Staff for prompt action.
  3. Ensure all travel arrangements are made promptly, and resolve any issues that may arise before, during, or following any CEO travel.
  4. Support the running of the Office of the CEO as it relates to the wider organization; assist in organizing meetings or events, both external and internal.
  5. Provide support to the Executive Assistant with external/personal needs of the CEO, so that the CEO can function at a high-level and focus on the important needs of the organization.
  6. Provide technology assistance as required.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  1. 4+ years’ experience at scheduler/assistant level.
  2. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and follow-through, as well as strong research and analytical skills.
  3. Ability to handle confidential information and projects with professionalism and discretion.
  4. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including excellent editing skills and experience taking meeting minutes and writing detailed briefs and research materials.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is a must.
  6. Good working knowledge of office practices and procedures.
  7. A recognized ability to work with technology: excellent working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, the iOS/Apple ecosystem, and other organizational web applications (i.e., Asana, Salesforce, Slack, etc.)
  8. Friendly, confident and assertive personality.
