The Global HR team at Greenpeace International is looking for an Intern to support the Talent Acquisition Project with the implementation phase of the project. This will entail working with the Global HR Project Manager to develop and improve recruitment processes.

This position is suitable for a recent graduate that is available part-time (2 days a week), and who would reside in The Netherlands.

Due to current circumstances, the internship will be remotely based.

On-the-job Learning tasks will include:

Work with the Global HR Project Manager and Project Team to develop and improve one or more of these deliverables:

  • Alignment with Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Pilot a new Applicant Tracking System
  • Shortlisting Guide
  • Expand Advertising Network
  • Guide on Work Samples, Case Studies, and Work Tasks
  • Guide on Interview Prep for Candidates incl. STAR Technique


What we are looking for:

  • Dedication to Greenpeace’s values and goals
  • A degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or related field (with an interest in recruitment)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Flexible attitude to shifting work priorities
  • Humour and positive attitude to get things done
  • Ability to approach all work with a high degree of awareness and sensitivity towards inclusivity and collaboration
  • Ability to cope with situations beyond your control and deal with ambiguity
  • Sound ability to apply in-depth knowledge on organisational psychology
  • Good judgment and an ability to make decisions based on gathering the relevant information

The Fine Print

  • This internship is only available for candidates who live in the Netherlands and have a BSN number. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, you will be required to work from home.
  • An Internship is intended for students or recent graduates who have completed their studies within the last twelve months.
  • Interns residing within/up to a distance of 150 km from the office in Amsterdam are entitled to 400 euros net as a monthly stipend (40 hours per week). Interns residing beyond 150 km from the office are entitled to 800 euros net as a monthly stipend (40 hours per week).

Internships are (in principle) full-time positions (40 hours per week) for a period of three-six months. However, for this role, we prefer candidates who are available part-time (2 days per week/ 16 hours per week).
